Kids and computers go together like peanut butter and jelly. I’ve seen it happen many times when kids are messing around with their parents’ computer and accidentally put in a virus or worm. Or when the parents have finally found out what their kids have been doing on the computer, they had to contact the authorities because the computer has been totally infected. Who could have predicted that?

There are a lot of different computer literacy programs that are designed to teach children how to use computers safely and also to teach them the basic fundamentals of computing. However, what is even more important is to teach children to learn to love and to understand computers.
